Description
A new international project, Improved Anticipation of Flood on the White Nile (INFLOW), will conduct research to better understand and predict flooding on the River Nile in South Sudan and Uganda.
INFLOW will hold a virtual inception meeting on 18-19 September 2023. The meeting is open to stakeholders who are working in the region or are interested in engaging with the project. Interested stakeholders can register for the inception meeting online.
The project, part of the Climate Adaptation and Resilience (CLARE) research programme, is co-led by the University of Reading and ICPAC. Project partners include national and regional hydrological agencies, academic institutions, humanitarian organizations and the private sector. They will work together on interdisciplinary research to deliver a step change in our ability to anticipate flooding and its impacts.
