Description
The objective of this interactive workshop is to critically reflect on the opportunities, challenges and concrete entry points for expanding anticipatory action to other contexts and hazards. Participants will interrogate the principles, conditions and resources needed for anticipatory action to:
- deliver support in situations of protracted crises or conflict;
- tackle disease outbreaks and epidemics;
- curb food insecurity and malnutrition, especially in light of alarming trends.
The session targets newcomers to the anticipatory action community, established practitioners and policy-makers.
