Honduras

Honduras is exposed to a number of hydrometeorological hazards, including droughts, floods, hurricanes and landslides; earthquakes are also a threat. High levels of inequality, as well as internal conflict and insecurity, exacerbate people's vulnerability to these hazards, while also contributing to displacement, especially among those at the lower end of the economic spectrum. 

Anticipatory action is well established in Honduras, with many organizations working with the government to expand this approach to more hazards and more regions.
