Hazards covered by anticipation
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is exposed to droughts, floods, heat waves and typhoons. Climate change and other environmental hazards can also lead to soil erosion and landslides, which have impacts such as causing damage to crops.
It is currently challenging for humanitarian organizations to operate in the country, limiting the potential for anticipatory action to support people ahead of these hazards.
