Hazards covered by anticipation
Drought and tropical cyclones are two of the major hazards in Tuvalu. As the climate heats up, these and other hazards, including heat waves, are expected to become more frequent and intense.
As in other Pacific Island countries, efforts are under way to explore the potential for anticipatory action to help protect people from these hazards.
