Hazards covered by anticipation

People in Turkmenistan are at risk from several hazards, including droughts, floods and mudflows. Extreme temperatures are another risk, and initial efforts to establish anticipatory action in the country are focusing on heat waves – an increasing concern given the expected effects of climate change.
