The importance of connecting regional and national meteorological and hydrological services with anticipatory action practitioners

For organizations that implement anticipatory action ahead of climate- and weather-related hazards, collaborating with regional and national meteorological and hydrological services is essential for ensuring that their anticipatory action systems are functional, sustainable and effective. This briefing highlights the importance of anticipatory action practitioners and NMHSs working together to develop new anticipatory action systems and to strengthen existing ones.
