This session will be held as part of the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks

In this interactive session we discuss experiences and strategies for adapting disaster risk financing instruments (such as insurance, crisis modifiers or reserve funds) to fuel anticipatory action. By exploring emerging practices, lessons learned and conceptual considerations, participants will have a chance to identify and discuss practical ideas on how to overcome challenges in adapting disaster risk financing instruments for anticipatory action.
