Description

Anticipatory action for the humanitarian impacts of conflict has been on the margins of anticipatory action conversations for years. This Community Conversation finally centers the topic, bringing in experts on the analysis of conflict impacts on WASH and food security to share what we already know about the short- and long-term impacts of conflict. The discussion will then move towards turning knowledge into action, exploring the opportunities for anticipatory action frameworks and what would be needed from both the anticipatory action community and the conflict impact monitoring community to make such frameworks work.
