Side Event: Anticipatory Action as an integrated solution to short- and long-term climate shocks

This side-event UNFCCC's Asia Pacific Climate Week 2021, co-led by IFRC and FAO provides a space to discuss how Anticipatory Action is contributing to short-and long-term climate resilience. The event will be centred on a panel discussion with climate scientists, government bodies, and humanitarian/development agencies. We are pleased to feature presentations from Mr. Chuluunkhuu, Mongolian Red Cross’ ongoing Dzud Anticipatory Action, along with Mr. Trung Institute of Meteorology, Hydrology and Climate Change (IMHEN) to speak to trigger development and close collaboration with Vietnam Red Cross to replicate and scale up FbF in Vietnam.
