Gendered Displacement Drivers Assessment Manual

The purpose of this manual is to serve as a practical field guide for implementing the
Gendered Displacement Drivers Assessment (GDDA) framework. It equips practitioners,
facilitators, local authorities, and community-based actors with a participatory, community-centered methodology to systematically uncover the underlying drivers, displacement pathways, and tipping points that lead households to move. It also supports analysis of the household and community decision-making processes under stress that shape who moves first, who stays behind, and at what point movement becomes unavoidable.
