Protecting Communities: Acting Early to Reduce Landslide Risk in Chattogram Hill Tracts, Bangladesh
This case story booklet documents lessons and good practices from an ECHO-supported anticipatory action for landslides project in Bangladesh. It demonstrates how anticipatory action, locally led preparedness, child-centred approaches and strong partnerships helped reduce landslide risk and protect vulnerable communities through early warnings, safe evacuation and strengthened local resilience, especially in remote hill-tract areas.
