An anticipatory action framework is a pre-agreed arrangement that enables the implementation of actions in anticipation of a hazard, based on a forecast or risk analysis. It defines all the necessary elements before the forecast or warning is received – including triggers, actions, financing and decision-making processes – and is ready to be activated once a specific trigger is met. This table lists all active frameworks in place during 2025.
