Report from the 1st Eastern Africa Dialogue Platform on Anticipatory Humanitarian Action
The 1st Eastern Africa Dialogue Platform on Anticipatory Humanitarian Action took place from 1 to 3 October 2024. Attended by 210 people from 18 countries, this was the region's first dialogue platform, representing an opportunity to tackle the critical challenges that affect this hazard-afflicted region. This report captures the main outcomes and highlights from the event, including the 'Mombasa Declaration 2024', which sets out the shared vision for anticipatory action in eastern Africa.
