2nd National Dialogue Platform on Anticipatory Action in Malawi
This report summarizes the 2024 Malawi National Dialogue Platform on Anticipatory Action (AA), themed “A Roadmap in Action.” Over 60 participants from government, UN, Red Cross, NGOs, academia, and civil society reviewed AA progress, identified enablers and barriers, and explored coordination and financing. The event included insights from Mozambique and produced commitments, next steps, and a message showcasing Malawi’s proactive disaster risk approach.
