National Early Action Protocol for Cyclone in Bangladesh

Bangladesh's National Early Action Protocol aims to develop a guideline for anticipatory actions using skilful forecasts with defined coordination(s) for the taskforce and other partners. It has been developed for the early actions and readiness actions at different stages, and for multisectoral use. Overall, it will help to reduce the impacts of cyclones and suffering in vulnerable coastal communities by ensuring synchronized anticipatory actions by multiple actors for cyclone risk management.
