Report on flood simulation exercise on anticipatory action

Report on a flood simulation exercise on anticipatory action held in Lumbini and Sudhur Paschim Pronvices in Nepal on 29 - 30 September 2021. The Nepal Red Cross Society developed a Forecast-based Action mechanism (impact threshold, trigger, risk indicator and early action) and performed the simulation with the following objectives:

1. To test the FbF mechanism
2. To test the understanding of stakeholders of the mechanism

The report documents the simulation and the lessons learned.
