Improving Early Warnings of Cascading Risks to Food Security in Bangladesh
Food security in climate-vulnerable districts of Bangladesh is increasingly threatened by disasters that disrupt agriculture, markets, water quality, and diets. Current early warning systems often focus on single hazards and lack food security integration. As outlined in this policy brief, strengthening people-centred, multi-hazard early warning systems, digital platforms, interagency collaboration and community engagement can enhance resilience and reduce humanitarian impacts.
