Forecast-based financing in Bangladesh - scoping and challenges
The SUFAL project commissioned this study to identify and assess different funding and financing
mechanisms for forecast-based actions, and to propose recommendations for how this can be integrated into Bangladesh's framework for disaster risk management. The main objectives were to: (1) map out various sources of financing for early action; and (2) examine the policies and procedures to access these funds.
