Welthungerhilfe Zimbabwe - Drought Hazard Risk and Humanitarian Impact Analysis and Inventorisation of Forecast Models Final Report

This report was commissioned by Welthungerhilfe in line with the aim of developing and establishing a Forecast-based Action approach to address imminent risks of food insecurity implemented by Welthungerhilfe in Zimbabwe. This study is motivated by the need to develop Scientific Drought Forecast Trigger Models and to take stock of the humanitarian impact of droughts in Zimbabwe. This study aims to deliver an updated and comprehensive (i) analysis of drought hazard risk and humanitarian impacts and (b) inventory of existing drought forecast models.
