Extreme weather events such as droughts, floods and cyclones can severely impact food security and nutrition. Acting before diets deteriorate and malnutrition escalates is crucial for protecting vulnerable populations from the effects of these events. 

The Anticipatory Action and Nutrition Taskforce is launching a series of sessions to explore countries' best practices and operational tools, and to foster exchange on integrating anticipatory action into nutrition programming. This session is the first of the series and will feature: 

• a presentation of WFP's new guidance
• a tool that provides practical ways and actionable recommendations to integrate nutrition into anticipatory action programming
• insights from recent experiences in Kenya.

The webinar will be conducted in English.
