The Q2 Global FOREWARN Community Meeting on anticipating heat waves will take place on Wednesday 18 May from 08:30-10:30 GMT.

Start Network Crisis Anticipation and Risk Financing team is pleased to invite to the May FOREWARN Community meeting - with a focus on heatwaves. This quarter, the focus is on Start Network, national FOREWARN, members', and partners' work on anticipating heatwaves. As always, we invite FOREWARN community members to share their own heatwave work, tools, or experiences that could support collaboration to effectively anticipate this hazard.

Please contact FOREWARN@startprogrammes.org with your request to share an update by Thursday 5th May 2022, following which the final agenda will be shared.

START Network is working hard to make these meetings accessible to all time zones, and hopes to bring a range of options in the future. The full meeting recording will be shared, as well as ways to engage with presenters, but please contact FOREWARN@startprogrammes.org if you have difficulty attending the meeting. Creating connections and partnerships is fundamental to FOREWARN and your feedback will help to find solutions for future meetings.
